Single bed including linen

Yes, linen is provided and changed fortnightly or sooner by special request. Hand towels are changed daily and bath towels are changed xxx

Our staff clean all common areas daily, however, in the spirit of good community living, all students are expected to tidy the kitchen and social areas after use. Bedrooms are your own private space and again, all students are expected to keep them clean.

All kitchens are designed to be well equipped to help you feel at home where you might just want to grab something for yourself or cook together for a fun night in. Kitchens are stocked with utensils as you would expect, but also enough food to get you settled in the first few days. Any special requests for utensils or equipment are considered.

That will be you, I'm afraid ! Each hall has its own laundry at no utility expense. It includes washing machines, driers, ironing boards etc. Washing powder and liquids are at the student’s responsibility (but we always have some at hand to get you started).

In Ireland, it is prohibited by law to smoke in indoor communal places of work or social gathering. We do provide comfortable and sheltered areas outside for when you feel a craving coming on.

Guests are welcome once they register with our office. Rooms may be available, depending on demand, and can be offered at a small charge. See the FAQ item 'Visiting Guests Policy' for further details

As with life, things can go wrong at any time… We try to solve any issues asap to avoid escalation and disruption to students. To help minimise any building damage it is important you let the office know first (ie not your college) and asap.

It is great to see visitors from back home come to experience Cork and all it has to offer. When available, rooms can be booked at a discounted rate for your parents or friends.

Just send a quick email to our accommodation office - office@halberg.ie - and we will let you know what we have available or assist you book elsewhere if we are full.

Please note:
Rooms are only offered to family and friends of students.
Guests of alumni are also welcome.
Maximum stay is 5 nights.
Discounted rate for a single room is €50 per night, payable in advance.
Registration and payment for all guests is necessary through our accommodation office.
House rules are to be respected at all times.
